Appearance
Adult: Black and red elongate body with long legs and a dorsal process on the scutellum.
Notes
Adults and nymphs suck the sap from tender buds, leaves and stem and the toxic saliva of the insect injected at the time of feeding cause brownish patches, curling of leaves and drying of shoots.
